Celine was pleased by what she saw. It looked like Julia had found exactly what she was looking for. She was glad that she pushed Julia to take the initiative. Sipping at her own drink, she lounged back against the bar, letting out a small, content sigh. Now that Julia was in the hands of her new dominant friend, she was feeling like looking around for her own fun. As she looked out across the club, she saw a woman approaching her. She wore a light blue dress like the spring sky, her skin tanned like it was the summer, and with a wintery shade of long, dark chestnut hair.

“Hey there,” The woman in the blue dress said as she approached Celine. “Is this seat taken?”

“Go right ahead,” Celine said.

“Thanks,” The woman said, sitting down to Celine’s left. “I’m Carole.”

“Celine, like the singer,” Celine said, offering her hand.

Both women shook hands and Carole smiled. “I saw you come into the club with that woman over there,” Carole said, gesturing with her head over to Julia. “Is she your sub?”

“Oh, no,” Celine said. “She’s a good friend of mine who wanted some support coming here tonight.”

Carole glanced over at Julia and Kevin. “It looks like she found herself someone else to enjoy the night with.”

“Ah,” Celine said. “As long as she’s safe and having fun, I’m not going to fault her.”

“And what about your own fun?”

“Well,” Celine said, smiling at Carole. “I haven’t quite figured out if this is my thing yet.”

Carole looked to her with slight confusion. “This is your first time at a BDSM club?” Celine nodded. “Wow. You really started swimming in the deep end tonight.”

“I learned to swim by getting thrown in the deep end by my older brother. Sometimes you just have to sink or swim.”

Carole laughed, her soft pink lips curled in amusement. “That’s certainly a curious way to approach things. I’d love to learn more.”

Celine finished off her wine and set down her empty glass. “So would I,” She said, turning to face Carole. “That is if you’re willing to help someone new learn the ropes.”

“I could teach you a thing or two,” Carole said.

Celine and Carole locked eyes. They leaned forward, their lips brushing against each other’s ever so softly. The kiss lasted barely a moment but both women seemed to like how it felt.

“Know anything about shibari?” Celine said.

“I’m a bit of a rigger,” Carole said. “I’ve been to a workshop or two.”

“There are workshops for that?”

Carole nodded. “Oh yes. Would you like me to show you?”

“I would love nothing more than that,” Celine answered.

Hand in hand, the two rose from their seats at the bar and went to the back wall. While more people had crowded into the club and the back wall had become busier, there was still space. Carole guided Celine over to a section holding various types of rope. Celine watched as Carole picked through them, finding what looked like hemp rope. She gave it a few tugs with her hands before turning to face Celine.
